CGT Free
Any coin produced by The Royal Mint with a face value will benefit from being a CGT-free gold investment, or CGT-free silver investment. This means you can make an unlimited tax-free profit on investments of any size and value on ALL British legal tender coins.
VAT Free
Investment gold is exempt from VAT , this includes all gold bullion bars and coins purchased in the UK.
In 2004, the Royal Mint unveiled a highly exclusive St George and the Dragon £5 Sovereign Gold Proof Coin, meticulously crafted from solid 22 Carat Gold and professionally graded by NGC at PF69.
The coin’s reverse features the iconic design by Benedetto Pistrucci of St George vanquishing the dragon, a motif that has adorned the sovereign since its reintroduction in 1817 during George III’s reign amidst comprehensive coinage reforms.
The inception of the Gold £5 Sovereign in the same era marked a significant moment, though it was not until Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in 1887 that these coins were minted for circulation. Unlike the earlier versions that bore Edgar Boehm’s controversial portrait of Queen Victoria, prompting a swift redesign, Pistrucci’s St George has remained a constant, celebrated piece of numismatic art, proudly displayed on the 2004 £5 Gold Proof Crown Coins.

“In stock” coins will be shipped fully insured within 3-5 business days.
“Out of Stock” coins are items which are currently not available for purchase.
“Awaiting stock” means we are awaiting a delivery of items.
“On back order” coins are items which can be bought at the live spot price on the day but can take 4-8 weeks to source and deliver.
We will deliver your order in the fastest and safest way possible as soon as payment is cleared and the stock is available. We use Royal Mail, UPS and FedEx for our deliveries.
Please note that due to the increase in the gold price, we are unable to dispatch 500 gram and 1kg bars as it exceeds our insurance limits. Bars can still be collected in person or kept in secure storage.
Our packaging is discrete and we do everything to minimise the chance of anyone guessing the contents of the parcel. No reference to bullion or coins will be on the packaging.
We ask that you assist us in getting the order to you safely by making sure that the addresses you register are correct and that any card payments are made from a card registered in both your name and also to your address.
All parcels of any value are fully insured by us until signed for by someone at your address.
We cannot be held responsible for delays to the postal system which may affect delivery of your goods, which are beyond our control.
Collection
Orders that have been fully paid in advance can be collected from our office after we have contacted you to inform you that your package is ready to collect.
When you come to collect you must produce identification and a copy of the invoice for the goods you are collecting. We cannot release the goods to 3rd parties.
Storage
We offer a high security and insured storage solution from £10 or 0.065% per month. Our storage service includes free delivery to the vault, individual sub accounts and fully insured storage.
